We have to sadly report that our BSF commentator and supporter from the very beginning, Eddie Walder has passed on.
Eddie ran the Comms Box in Bromyard Square on each occasion the event was held in the town and was a hill climb and sprint stalwart for many, many years dominating the commentary at Shelsley and other hills with his flawless knowledge of hill history and cars.
Many people have said how knowledgeable, enthralling and compelling Eddie’s words were at our festivals.
Our deepest sympathies to all whose lives he touched.
