Bromyard Speed Festival

About Us

The Bromyard Speed Festival is a celebration of motoring history and traditionally welcomes a significant number of road and race vehicles including historic, classic, prestige, racing cars, road cars, super cars and motorcycles

Cars of note and historical importance have appeared in previous events

The event has previously alternated as a street event in the picturesque market town of Bromyard, Herefordshire, where there is a rich motoring heritage and the historic Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb also situated locally

For 2025 we will be launching a new format comprising a two day event encompassing a Tulip Road Map Scenic Tour of Herefordshire, Evening Entertainment with licensed bar and various food outlets. On the Sunday we will be delivering a closed road non-competitive hill climb in which circa 300 vehicles will travel up the hill in morning and afternoon runs with their progress shown live on a video screen within the festival site.

Supported by static car club and owner displays plus a variety of food outlets the event will have something for everybody

The events to date have been entirely self-funded through participant entry fees, sponsorship, advertising, vendors, program sales and other contributions. It is estimated that during the events have raised over £1m in income for the local economy.

We have also donated over £20K to local charities and community organisations since 2016

The event is organised by Bromyard Speed Festival CIC, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company where any profits generated are retained to fund future events and any surpluses distributed to local charities
