Bringsty Grand Prix was a Motocross event that took place in 1946 and 1947 in part to celebrate the end of World War II but in part also to protest at the continuing shortages in fuel and other necessities.
Local researchers established some detail of the event including the route of the circuit used back in 1947. From this came the idea of reviving the event under the auspices of Bromyard Speed Festival.
To this end a low key pilot event was organised in 2017 to run the day before the main street event in Bromyard. This was to check out the feasibility of running a proper event in 2018.
Happily the conclusion was that this should be run again in 2018 with a full complement of entrants. Spectators will be welcome but should dressed for muddy conditions! We would particularly like to see local people attend what will be a fun event.
