Aston Martin Le Mans 1932

aston martin lemansAston Martin, chassis no.LM8. Part of a team of three entered for the 1932 Le Mans 24 hour. She came 7th overall, 3rd in class and won the Rudge Cup which was then the most prestigious trophy.

Made from the best materials to very high standards and tolerances, the works team all used magnesium for the gearbox, brakes and rear axle. This makes them light in comparison with other Astons but still quite heavy compared to other vintage cars.

She has been restored after being kept in an open barn for 40 years.
